Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle talks about what the virtue of character means to him as a leader

Mitch Utterback and I never stop creating! We interviewed Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle about his views on what makes his agency tick, and its no surprises-it character.

Check out our Sound slides project to see what we are talking about. Cheers!

  1. I enjoyed watching this slideshow. It’s obvious you made the Sheriff feel comfortable and he was not afraid to open up and share with you. He was clearly speaking from the heart. I also enjoyed your photos. Two minor criticisms: 1.) the pictures didn’t completely correspond with what he was telling you, although getting action shots (like the department responding to a fire) would have been very time consuming. 2.) instead of using outside narration to introduce the Sheriff, the slideshow might have benefited hearing him say something like, “I’m Joe Pelle. I’ve been the Sheriff in Boulder County for …”
Nevertheless, the primary content of the interview was very compelling!
